Our Take
We recommend Dreams Playa Mujeres for families who want a full-service all-inclusive with spacious suites and plenty to do without leaving the resort. The pools, water park, children’s and teen spaces, and family room options make it especially practical for multi-generational trips.
What we like most is the easy balance between activity and comfort, with Preferred Club available for guests who want a more elevated layer of service.

The resort offers ten dining experiences: six à la carte restaurants, an international buffet, a grill, a fast-casual option and a café with an ice cream parlor. Reservations are not required.
The restaurant mix includes Japanese-Peruvian cuisine at Fusion, Brazilian rodizio at Gaucho Grill, French dining at L’Etoile, seafood at Maris, Mediterranean dishes at Mezés, Mexican cuisine at Tres Colores and themed international stations at World Café.
There are 13 bars and lounges, including two non-alcoholic venues created for teens and tweens. Preferred Club guests receive access to additional dining and bar privileges in designated areas.
Dress codes vary by venue. Several dinner restaurants request casual-elegant attire, and L’Etoile is reserved for guests age 13 and older.
