We book Norway in two acts. The fjords (Geirangerfjord, Nærøyfjord) on a private cruise out of Bergen, then the Lofoten Islands by light aircraft for the photographers' Norway. In winter, Tromsø and Sommarøy for the aurora.
It is the most theatrical landscape in Europe, and the rooms here are increasingly worthy of it.
